The short version
Mostly local storage, not tracking cookies
What we use
Instead of traditional tracking cookies, the sites mainly use your browser's localStorage. It is a small area of storage that stays on your device. We use it to remember your settings and, if you use local login, your own data.
What is stored
Every item, why it exists and how long it lasts
Items saved in your browser
| Item | Purpose | Set by | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
Theme preference theme | Remembers whether you chose dark or light mode. | wondermayank | Until you clear site data |
| Local login data | Keeps your progress, saved items and test results on your device when you use local login. | wondermayank | Until you clear site data |
| Google sign-in session | Keeps you signed in when you use Google login. | Firebase (Google) | Until you sign out or clear site data |
| Google Fonts request | Loads the Inter font. This is not a cookie, but your browser contacts Google's font servers, which can see your IP address. | Each page load |
Manage and clear
You are in control
Clear it in your browser
Every browser lets you view and delete site data. Look for Settings, Privacy, Site data (or Cookies and site data), find the site, and choose Delete.
In a private or incognito window, local data is removed when you close the window.
Third-party services
They follow their own policies
Services that may store data or set cookies
Firebase (sign-in and storage), Google Sheets (leaderboard scores), Google Fonts, and the AI providers behind our AI tools are run by other companies. They may use their own cookies or storage under their own policies, which we do not control.
For how your data is handled, read the Privacy Policy.
